Google has a question about the x axis scale adjustment code of JSL. Originally he found there is a space between bars on the histogram of graph builder. He revised the increment setting and save it to the script window. When he runs the script, the histogram seems normal. But when he changed this parameter to another parameter under column switcher, the space issue of histogram happens again even when he choosed back to the original parameter. May I know is there a good way to revise below code for fixing this issue? JMP verion is 14.
Thank you
Graph Builder(
Variables( X( :DQ_Read_Right ), Group Y( :PCB ) ),
Elements( Histogram( X, Legend( 4 ), Means and Std Devs( 1 ) ) ),
Column Switcher( :DQ_Read_Right, {:DQ_Read_Left, :DQ_Read_Right} ),
Column Switcher( :PCB, {:Vendor, :CPU, :DRAM, :Temp, :V_level, :PCB} ),
SendToReport(
<EM><STRONG>Dispatch({},"DQ_Read_Right",ScaleBox,{Inc( 2 ),Minor Ticks( 1 )}),
Dispatch({},"DQ_Read_Left",ScaleBox,{Inc( 2 ),Minor Ticks( 1 )})</STRONG></EM>
),
)
Hi Byron,
Thanks for your response. The JMP version that customerused is 14. I already found a solution which is to add the axis column property. The default increment of JMP 14 is 0.5 but the increment of JMP 15 is 1. That's why the scale is not changed. The dashboard is also a good recommendation. I will tell customer this idea. Thank you.
Hey Tyson,
I took a look at the data and the script.
Which version of JMP are you using?
I was looking at it with JMP15.0 on a mac and I didn't see the scaling issue happening.
On a completely different topic, this dashboard would look good using tabs rather than one giant tall report.
