This is a presentation that I first delivered at the Irish JMP Users Forum in 2014.
I know that it's pretty bold to go in front of a bunch of JMP users and claim to tell them that these are things they don't know. So, I said that if they knew any of these to please let me know, but in doing so, they were also volunteering to share something they thought the rest of the audience didn't know about JMP. That made it fun and interactive. Here's the content. I'm also attaching a JMP Journal and the couple of data tables that it relies on.

One
Shortcut and Modifier Keys
Switch tools with a single keystroke: A-Arrow, S=Selection, Z=Zoom, C=Crosshair, L=Lasso, B=Brush, H=Hand, R=Scroller, ?=Help, T=Text Annotate
Broadcast commands with Ctrl/Cmd key
Dialog of hotspot options with Alt key
Ctrl-1/Cmd-2 to get to Home window quickly
Windows: Ctrl-Tab / Alt-Tab to cycle through JMP windows/all windows
Windows: F9 - Reveal all JMP Windows

Two
Layout Report Windows using Application Builder
To combine multiple report windows arrange the windows on the screen and then combine them
Get finer control by editing the application with Application Builder
Three
Get data from the Web with Internet Open
Imports data directly from web pages.
Converts HTML tables to JMP data tables.
Islands of Ireland
Four
The Word() function
Extracts the nth word from a character string according to the delimiters given. The default delimiter is space. If you include a third argument, any and all characters in that argument are taken to be delimiters.
S&P 500 Companies
Wikipedia list of S&P 500 Companies
Use File->Internet Open... to import the list from Wikipedia.
The Address of Headquarters has State embedded in it.
Extract it using Word() function.
This results in States with a leading space.
Get rid of it with Trim().
Some of the States have footnotes enclosed in [ ].
Get rid of the [] using the Word() function, again.
Five
Five quick Graph Builder tips
Drag an element icon into the graph to add another element
You can order a categorical axis by dragging a continuous variable into the axis’s “merge” zone
With multiple Xs or Ys resize them separately by clicking on the resize zone between them – twofer: turn off auto-stretching to make a graph bigger than the current window
Some legend items are hidden by default (Points and confidence bands); unhide and customize them in Legend Settings
Change the text orientation of the Y Group labels
Six
Use image files in graphs and elsewhere
Drag and drop image files into any graph frame
Manipulate images with JSL
Help -> Scripting Index, search "image"
Image examples from the JMP File Exchange
Seven
Optimize responses with a custom Desirability Function
Save Prediction Formula(s)
Add new column with custom desirabilty function
Graph -> Profiler on original prediction columns and custom derability column
Turn off desirability for original prediction columns
Maximize custom desirability
Eight
Find pareto efficient frontiers
Rows -> Row Selection -> Select Dominant...
Finds points that represent the Pareto efficient set. No point can be improved in one dimension without declining in the others.
Nine
Clean data with Select Matching Cells
Selects rows in the active data table with values that match the selected row(s).
Ten
Auto-join from Summary Table
Create a summary table (Tables->Summary)
Drag summary statistics back to source table.
Bonus
Col <Stat> () functions with by groups
Many of the column summary statistics functions like Col Mean() and Col Min() take a second (and third, fourth, etc.) argument to define by groups for computing the statistics.
