In application builder I have chosen a text color and background color for my combo box but it is not working. Please see attached image. Note coloring my text boxes has worked perfectly for me.
If you add Padding to the combo, you will see that the background behind the combo is changing, but currently the combo itself does not change its appearance:
The same will be true of a few other display objects that are drawn by the host OS, like SpinBox or ButtonBox. Objects like Radio Box, Combo Box, and SliderBox allow some of the background to show through, but the parts that they draw will not change.
