Parallel Plot

Hello everybody,

the traditional Parallel Plot platform has the option "Scale Uniformly". I didn't find a related control in Graph Builder. Is there no way to determine the range of the axes?

Ha! Now I remember. I even have a blurb on this in the "New in Graph Builder" starter section... but totally forgot about that. I need to take my own medicine it would seem

You forgot the first rule of JMP Club: right-click on everything.

The feature got moved to the axis > Combine Scales menu and it now applies to all elements that support parallel mode. It tries to guess well by using a common scale when the ranges are similar. Select Parallel Independent to override. And the reversal arrows show then, too.

This was possible in JMP 13 (left screen below) but does not appear possible in JMP 14 (right screen below). Also possible in JMP 13 but not 14 is to reverse the axis (high/low) for a given column, using the gray arrows. These are both features I found useful. I'll find out why they do not appear to be in JMP 14.

I could have sworn that was in the graph builder parallel plot… I can recall using it, but it’s nowhere to be found!

Weird… maybe they took it out?
