Since jmp can read python syntax if it opens a .py file, is there a way to do that with a scriptbox()?
I want to be able to have it next to other stuff.
New Window( "My Window's Title", scriptbox("def test(x, y): print(x, y)"), "python", 300, 100 );
No, none at present. That would be a good feature request.
JMP's editor code knows how to do the Python syntax highlighting, but currently the script box code only knows about JSL. When we open a .py file we know it's Python and can set the state of the editor appropriately. This would require a small amount of work to add the option to specify a script type for the script box.
