The overall look and feel
The JMP Community News banner
The image below the banner with the month on the side
The distinct sections and graphics describing each section (with the exception of the color)

Suggestions

I like how the color brings the different sections together and leads the eye through the newsletter. However, it pulls my eye from the actual content. I would suggest removing the color portion from the graphics and include the color within the content section.
Bookend the newsletter with a similar heading to the banner at the top rather than an image.
