generalized regression option not showing up JMP14hello,
I have a very small sample N=128 of dataset on which I want to do an OLS. There are various socioeconomic demographic indicators and some vehicle level attributes that are in the dataset. Quite a few useful variabels are correlated so I want to look at regularization/shrinkage/penalty methods to model.
I was going over the diabetes jmp file Generalized regression and I followed the instructions and I do not see the Generalized Regression as an option under the personality dropdown. I used the sample library data table of diabetes but for some reason I am not able to replicate the analysis found in the webinar for generalized regression. My version of JMP is 14 and using a Windows 10 machine.

Re: generalized regression option not showing up JMP14I am little puzzled about my JMP not being the PRO version . My previous version was a PRO version, when I renewed my license, JMP picked v14.0 so I installed it.
There were some negotiations between my academic institution (UC Davis) and JMP for updating the 2019 licenses, may be only the non-pro version was made available?Is there any chance that I might have downloaded the non-pro version because I thought the features found in the earlier pro version will automatically carry over to once the license is renewed.Also, is there any patch or addin I can add to enable the generalized regression feature?
Re: generalized regression option not showing up JMP14I know nothing about your previous installation or license. Updates should always apply the same version but upgrades require a new install. So it is possible that you mistakenly installed JMP instead of JMP Pro.
There is no patch. You must un-install the previous versions, download the JMP Pro installer, and re-install.

When I turned on check for software updates, JMP is asking me to install jmpupdater__1430__win__al.exe
Would this fix it? Not sure if I should go ahead.
