Most stories included in this sprint are focused on Discovery and newsletter.
Discussed results of IT's UX designer's review of Discussions board and topic page. My main takeaway was to be careful with the use of orange as a color.
Discussed Discovery TKB page. Users visit the page to find materials for presentations they attended. Others visit to find interesting content. What is the call to action for the page? Suggestions for improvements:
- Replace the top contributors with top kudos
- Bring the search closer to the content
- Have a call to action to show the best paper/poster finalists
- Have a post that lists the paper/poster/plenary numbers
- Rename Labels
- Reorganize listings into different groups similar to the mock-ups in COM-150, e.g. Featured Papers, Featured Videos, etc.
