Grouping Similar Phrases

Hi. I would like some help to group similar phrases and substitutes them for a few words.

For example:

aortic valve replacement

aortic valve replacement, mitral valve repair

coronary artery bypass, aortic valve replacement

 

group the 3 and name it as aortic valve replacement

I have tryed to use Recode but the buttom Recode do not appear to be. is this because the file has so many sentences?

Hi @Batista

Recode (Cols menu > Recode, or in JMP 14+ right-click column header > Recode) is a great tool, and just what I think you need. The button to commit the Recode should always stay visible, but with a large number of levels, it could be that the bottom of the window is off your screen. Perhaps try resizing it, or moving it up. Does this help?
