Using Projects in PresentationsGot a basic question about presenting in projects - when you put a journal into a project that generates reports (i.e. every demo I've got) the new windows will show up as tabs in the same pane as the journal. This effectively buries the journal.
When I move the journal to a split window configuration with the journal on the right (see the screenshot) the journal is left alone.
However, if I set up the split pane with the journal on the left it still buries the journal behind tabs. My question is - How do I control where the tabs show up in a split pane configuration?
Best,
M

Re: Using Projects in PresentationsHi Mike,
I had this as well. It seems that the new window will always is routed to the window on the left pane by default.However you can take a look into the scripting index and test a bit with the following commands.
Get Project()
Set/Get/Reset Layout()
Current Window List()
With get Layout you get the layout used for your project, including Windows IDs. If you save the layout in an expression and modify it accurately you can change what you want and add it to the appropriate window. I haven't checked so far the Window ID. It would be gret if one could just use this as a reference to add reports to that ID. May you can check that if you have time or someone else who did it can chime in. (I have it on my list but not the time yet)
Hope this brings you one step further,
Martin
