We now have a Call for Papers timeline. Jeff looked at last year’s entries and saw that a handful came in over the summer, the vast majority (of 100+ entries) came in during September. So, this year we will:
Open the CFP Tuesday, 26 July
Close Friday, 30 Sept. at 17:00 CET
Registration Opens – 17 October
Paper/poster notifications – Early November
Paper/posters presentations due – 20 February
Email Blasts
8 June – It’s coming! message
26 July
23 Aug
20 Sept – Last chance message
Even though the submission form won’t open until 1 Aug, we will go ahead and post the landing page with details so that we can point interested people to it for more information. We can also tease the CFP in the Newswire, on social, and on the JMP Community over the summer.
Will we have a best student poster award, like in the US this year? If so, we’ll need to add an extra, earlier deadline for those who want to be considered.
