Sales Data with verbatims

Question

Hello All,

We have a customer that wants to understand and potentially predict the success or failure of a given sales opportunity for their company.  The output is binary and they have some text around the "why" but is choppy at best.

Hoping someone out there has a data set that might fit the need here.  Basically sales data with some good verbatims around they why or why not for a given sale.

I think everyone in sales and marketing would like to know that.  I looked at our SF data for the Central team, but did not gain much insight that we did not already know.  The biggest indicators of if a deal would close were Age of deal (long sales cycles where not good), Type (Upgrade or New), other behavior did not tell us much like .  If you think it would be useful I can dig it up.

You might have a look at Shankang’s presentation from discovery last year. I don’t know if the data is there, but it proves out the concept and it’s a customer testimonial, which is probably more powerful than a demo.
