Click the orange “Upload” button from the “Upload a File” section.
From the dropdown menu, choose whether you are uploading an Add-In, Script or Sample Data. Press Enter.
A new document window opens for creating the description for your file and uploading it.

As an example, here is how to describe and upload an add-in.
- Write the title or name of the contribution. Make it descriptive.

- Use the rich-text editor to create a description. You can format text and include images in your description. In the text, be sure to explain how to use the add-in and describe potential use cases or applications.

- Click the camera icon to add one or more images to show what the add-in can do or looks like. (To create images to use in this file description, save them from within JMP or make them via screen capture.)

- Click “Attach” to attach the add-in for uploading. To attach more than one file, click “Attach” again.

- Accept the default Place for the file type you are uploading (Add-Ins, in this case).

- Type one or more tags to help other users find your file. Complete a tag with a comma or the enter key. You can create multi-word tags with a space between the words.

- Select the most relevant category for your file type. You may choose multiple categories.

- Accept the default Advanced option.

- Click the blue Publish button to submit your file and its description to the File Exchange for approval.

- Your file will not appear in the File Exchange until a community manager approves it, usually within one business day.
