<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Hi Folks,
Thank you for attending the February SE learning meeting. The agenda topics and a recording link are below.
1pm ET to 2:30pm ET: Chris Kirchberg: What is PLS anyway?
-For those who are unfamiliar with PLS, this session will give a tutorial on what PLS is and how it is implemented in JMP/JMP Pro. In addition, we will start with PCA since the two are related in purpose and function.
Special Note from from Chris regarding a question: For Discriminant Analysis, JMP will prompt you to switch to wide method if you have >500 columns. For PCA there is no warning and no automatic switch to wide estimation methods. You would have to do it manually.
2:30pm ET to 3pm ET: Gail Massari: Topic: Incorporating Great Demo and SPIN Selling practices into Mastering JMP Sessions
-Hundreds of people watch your live and recorded Mastering and Advanced Mastering JMP demos. Customer Care and our customers thank you.
-This year Customer Care will be updating the videos because you will be adding new JMP 12 capabilities into your live webcasts. This provides an opportunity to incorporate a few Great Demo and SPIN Selling principles. It also gives us the opportunity to create even more intentional short on-demand demos from each live webcast.
