How to write sampling data script from data table

Hi,

I want to sampling data from data table with script then I built dialog and wrote

::Sampling = Num(SamSize << GetText);

to set sampling rate and use in

dt_temp = dt1<
Despite it shows error with invalid sampling rate, debug mode shows correctly value . Please give me any suggestion.

Looks like SamplingRate is not properly evaluating its argument.  Try this...

dt1=Open("$SAMPLE_DATA\Big Class.jmp");
w = New Window("Sample Size", Modal, SamSize = Number Edit Box(0.5));
::Sampling = Num(SamSize << GetText);
print(::Sampling);
