"Auto translation of message failed" error on Community pagesOn older posts within the community, you may receive a translation error,

The error occurs because the author value is null in one of the posts within the topic. The author value is null as a result of migrating from Jive to Lithium.
Clicking the original error message will display the translation menu seen above to allow for the post to be translated to the language of choice.
There is no other workaround as the author of a post cannot be modified.
Re: "Auto translation of message failed" error on Community pagesAn example that demonstrates the behavior:

API: https://community.jmp.com/restapi/vc/messages/id/3084
From iTalent Support:
While we are validating translation on production threads, we came across following thread and observed that the connector is unable to translate.
We have debugged the issue and found that there is no author for one of the replies in the thread. Please see the following API response.
Usually when a user account is deleted/closed in the Community, the author value in API will be replaced as “anonymous”, but in this case we are seeing null value in API response. We cross checked with our other communities (before and after soft delete of user account), there the API showing as “anonymous” only. It seems like issue is happening only in JMP Prod (stage is also working fine). As Multi-Source translation depends on author profile language, connector is unable to process this particular thread because of null author.
