how to automatically set signifigant figures

Question

Maybe I am missing something (it is Friday )? I look at distribution perferences but couldn't find an option.

How can I set the significant figures for distributions and xy graphs? I have "rt click" on output,  then  check all those boxes and change the format manually to make all the numbers on this distribution plot display two decimal places… is there a way JMP can do this automatically?

So, this might not be as robust and elegant at a Brady script but it is certainly substantially more Rube Goldberg. This script will take the current report, assuming its a distribution report, and it will apply the column format to the quantiles and summary statistics. I still have one embarrassing parse in there. And I couldn't figure out a better way of getting the column names from the report so the HTML bit is a little on the brute force side. I've been wanting this for a while and never quite got it to work (not that this is great, sometimes it glitches and you have to run it twice).
