<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />My customer has been using Graph Builder platform to take a data table that has columns containing row and column coordinates of each die under study on a MEMS wafer and make wafer maps on the basis. He cast the row information onto the y-axis of the graph and the column information onto the x-axis, and then he uses cast whatever measured parameter he is studying in the color role.
This works nicely for him in general, however now he has a data set in which he has repeated measurements on the same wafer multiple times, and he would like to present the change (or lack thereof) in the parametric data in as visually clear a way as possible. His thought was to try doing something similar to his wafer maps, but in the Bubble Plot platform, so that it would effectively have a wafer map that was animated and changed colors as it stepped through the various measurements. He tried doing that by casting the row information as the y-axis in the bubble plot, and the column information as the x-axis, the test iteration number as the time variable, and the variable of interest as color and size, but it didn't really work because it didn't show all the individual die in any frame of the bubble plot.
Is anyone aware of any other ways that he might be able to create the kind of visualization that he has in mind within JMP?
Thanks,

Hey Mary,
I think column switcher or local data filter might give him what he wants since both of these have the animation options to got through what is in the list. Depends on how the columns are cast into what ever option.
