Sequential hide and unhide for some phaseFor example,
There are 100,000 rows
1,000 rows was hidden in step 1
Other 500 rows was hidden in step 2
Other 300 rows was hidden in step 3.
In there some method to unhide 500 rows of hidden in step 2 in Graph or Data Grid ?
Re: Sequential hide and unhide for some phaseThank you Martin. I checked with you and Mike's comments. Solved !Re: Sequential hide and unhide for some phaseThank you. I checked with you and Martin's comments. Solved !Re: Sequential hide and unhide for some phaseYou can use a new column representing the different condition, then just use this variable as a "by" variable (as Mike said) or as a filter (local or global as appropriate)
However, this is kind of explorative. Why not using this in a model and using the profiler? Just an idea.
Re: Sequential hide and unhide for some phaseThen you want to use a “by” variable.
M
Re: Sequential hide and unhide for some phaseThey seemed to want to use this kind of tactic in case of setting new process parameter's condition or deciding some parameter's spec limit.
For example, they tested various condition of process variables, and then througn severa' 'hide/unhide' and/or 'exclude/unexclude' process,
they tend to find optimal condition or spec limit.
Thank you
Re: Sequential hide and unhide for some phaseWhat is the goal? Is it to create three graphs? That’s important when discussing methods.
MRe: Sequential hide and unhide for some phaseI guess this is only possible if you save the row states in the data table or using a data filter to hide/select the columns and save the data filter into the data table or into a script and then just run the appropriate part of the script.
We do not have a good logging system, and hide/exclude action will not be tracked at all so even undo would not work. However this would have been sequential anyhow.
May you want to ask the customer to add an enhancement request to support so it's tracked. If it comes from customer it is always bit more worth than from internal.
