Hello All,
Hoping to find someone out there that has ANSI Attribute Sampling Plan experience. This something that 3M uses quite extensively in Minitab, but I cannot find anything analogous in JMP. I did find a Discovery 2014 video by David Trindade where Bloom Energy had developed a JMP equivalent/ better way of building the sample plan. Seems very robust, but not easy to set-up or implement.
Any thoughts or ideas would be very much appreciated.
Best,
Bill
Thanks Stan, this is great news!
Hi Bill,
@HydeMiller asked for additional information on this as well.
I am working with a customer and @ltw on the content and testing.
Unfortunately, we are still working through the testing and bug fix cycles at this time.
The current plan is to support the
- ANSI /ASQ Standard Z1.4
- MIL-STD-105E (Military Standard 105E)
- Attribute (single and zero) with the ability to evaluate, create and compare (up to 5) plans
- Variable sampling plans
We have the hooks in place to support double and mixed as well but this will be in a subsequent iteration.
We are hopeful to demo the addin at Discovery in a few weeks.
There will also be a talk Exploring Fundamentals of Acceptance Sampling and Control Chart Monitoring in JMP® ( US 2018 110 ) by Adsurgo at Discovery.
cheers,
Stan
