Someone watching the Mastering session on Dashboards, which I recorded when Olivia did it using JMP 13, found something that did not work, and reported it to Tech Support, Wendy Murphrey.
I added this note to the on-demand Dashboard webcast page in August.
NOTE: In JMP 14, it is not possible to add a tab to the Dashboard by dropping it into the Dashboard zone in the upper right corner, as shown at approximately 27:03 in this video.
Jerry Fish also uncovered the issue when doing the Dashboard session live using JMP 14.0. He mentioned that some other SEs had also had similar problems.
Dan Schikore explained that the Developers want Dashboard Builder and the Live Dashboard to be in sync. So, the ability to add a tab as described was removed in JMP 14. If Dan S. and team uncover any other issues, he will alert me and I will let you know.
