Data Filter - Find... Script

Question

Hi All,

I'm interested in scripting using the find function within the data filter as shown in the picture. The users prefer this when dealing with large number of fields. Unfortunately, the scripting index doesn't list the syntax for anything like this and a search of these boards only reveals a dead end. Has there been any changes since this post?

You may also want use the Columns Viewer.

I don't know the nature of purpose of your script or the design of your user interface, but you might consider providing a Text Edit Box or a Number Edit Box in your UI and then use the data table << Select Where or << Get Rows Where messages.

As for the data filter, did you look at the Where message?

Will you present the Data Filter to the user?
