- Depending on how they deploy their licenses they could use Active Directory permissions
- They could be using their internal software packaging system (commercial or custom)
- Others write a script to traverse the network looking for the JMP executable or a registry entry key
- Lastly, they maintain a JMP data table with the list of users (this is often not IT but a user administrating the deployment)
- possibly others?
There is often NOT a common approach or standard commercially available software to count JMP licenses.
