Blob variable crashes mySQL query with query builder.

morenopelaez_p

I have a database that contains small images in a blob variable. I have tried to query it with query builder but the whole query does not work (columns come up empty and the blob is not imported).

Can I import blobs with query builder or is this just not supported?

Hi,

JMP does not support directly the import of BLOB objects with Query Builder at this time.  JMP ignores the BLOB object because it does not know how it should be interpreted.

Alternatively, you could do something similar as mentioned in this discussion Byte Array Image from Database to JMP

Thanks,
