Your paper has been accepted by the Discovery Summit 2017 Steering Committee, which means that you will be presenting it at the Discovery Summit conference on Oct. 18, 19, or 20 in St. Louis, MO. Please let me know if you have any limitations on which day you can speak.
About your presentation:
Please confirm your acceptance to me (kathy.walker@jmp.com) by June 14. If you have a co-presenter who will attend Discovery Summit, please send me his or her name, organization and email.
You will have 45 minutes for your presentation. Because audience participation is important, please allow time for discussion. We recommend that you speak for 35 minutes and take questions for 10 minutes at the end of your presentation.
The steering committee selected your submission based on the information you provided. It is important for you to keep your presentation at the skill level you indicated. The committee strongly encourages you to demo JMP live during your presentation.
In September, you will receive instructions on how to submit your paper and presentation files (slide decks) to the JMP® User Community. Final version of papers and presentations are due by Friday, Sept. 15. This will provide a helpful reference for fellow JMP users and will offer an additional opportunity for you to promote your hard work! In our experience, posting only a slide deck doesn’t do your presentation justice. Typically, a paper accompanying your slide deck provides the most value to attendees. If you feel that your slide deck can stand alone, then you are most welcome to send it only.
Making your arrangements:
You are responsible for getting yourself to St. Louis, MO, and for your hotel room. For your convenience and easier access to other attendees and speakers, we hope you will choose to stay at the conference hotel: St. Louis Union Station Hotel.
Please do not book your hotel or register for the conference yet. You will receive an email from us in June containing a specific link for you to use to register at a 50 percent discount of $595. You can make your hotel arrangements as part of the registration process.
