query two tables from two different DBs one two different servers

I am trying to qrite a query that joins two tables, but the two tables are in different databases on different servers.  I can create a connection to each one separately within JMP, but how do I access both of them, or link them , to  join the two tables in one query?  I can do this in SSMS through linked servers.

Hey, Terri,

I believe your only option in JMP 12 is going to be to make two ODBC queries (with Open Table or Query Builder) of the tables from the two separate databases, which will give you two JMP data tables, and then use Tables > Join to join those two tables.

It's some extra steps, but it should get the job done.
