Topic Name: Mastering JMP Webinars
Representative: Gail Massari
Date: 22 December 2021
Section 1: Top Three to Five Takeaways
1) Target audience: JMP and JMP Pro users who have a basic familiarity with JMP.
2) Business Goal: Entice users to trust and use JMP's visualization and interactive analytics to help solve business problems/challenges.
3) Organizational Goal: Reduce the need for Systems Engineers and Technical Enablement Engineers to develop and present custom company-specific demos on basic and advanced JMP and JMP Pro capabilities.
4) Deliverables: Public US live WebEx Event Center sessions every Friday 2-3 pm ET; Advanced US sessions twice monthy Thursday 2-3 pm ET. Videos and links to JMP journals, files, PPT slides, and other resources. List of people who registered and whether they attended posted to salesforce.com after each session.
5) Topics: Each SE/TEE develops and presents one or two Basic or Advanced topics 2-3 times each year. New topics are added after major new capabilities are released in a new version of JMP or JMP Pro. SEs, TEEs, Customer Care determine topics/schedule each November. Topics (and materials from SEs and TEEs) are also available for presentation at JMP Days.

- Schedules webinars, sends calendar invitations to presenters, reminds and tests WebEx setup w/ presenters week of live webinar, and collects and posts journals and resources before the first annual live webinar on each topic.

- Prepare presentations based on their understanding of the basic customer needs related to the topic of the day.
- Apply standard learning and Great Demo principles that keep demos centered on problem and answer, not software keystrokes.
- Segment demo into 3-10 minute sections that begin with a PPT screen shot and brief explanation of the segment end-state that shows what they will find (eg., we will learn that the people answering the survey tended to reject the proposal if they lived near the river).
- Answer attendee questions provided by host, or defer complicated questions to 1-1 after the session.
