How to merge two adjacent rows without a key columnHello.
So I am analzying cricket batting averages for a project for school. I used the Internet Open option in JMP to get the data from the following site: http://stats.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2017/engine/records/averages/batting.html?id=11701;type=tournament.
I get the table below which has the player statistics in one row and the team that the player is on in the row right below. Is there any way either through JMP or SAS that I can combine two rows so that for each player, I also have his team as well. An help would be appreciated. Thank you

A suggested solution was included. Is there an issue with the suggested solution?
Re: How to merge two adjacent rows without a key columnYou could select the even rows, subset them into a new data table, delete the selected rows in the original data table, and then join the two tables with a match.
See Help > Books > Using JMP.
