Data capture scriptsI have a measurement system that exports data into a .csv file in a standard layout. I want to be able to import some of this data into jmp for control chart analysis. I would like the script to add new data onto the end of an exisiting data table and update the control charts accordingly. I would like the end point to be as simple as possible so other users may use this. I have little scripting experience, could anyone give me some pointers on how to start this?Re: Data capture scriptsIf you open a CSV file in JMP interactively, it will add a table script to called "Source".

You can copy that script into as a starting point. Then you need to write JSL to detect which data is new and append it to your existing data table.
