What is proper fair use of addins/scripts in File Exchange?

If I like an addin or script in the File Exchange... and want to share with others in my organization.

• Is it OK to save a local copy on some shared file system for others to more easily access/install (potentially even adding it into our internal addin management/delivery system)?
• Or is the expectation that each user download individually?

Either way (and definitely as we tweak and enhance) we would want to reference and attribute the author's contribution.

All content in the File Exchange and all other parts of the Community is covered under the Terms of Use for SAS web sites.

The section on Posting to the Online Communications Channels​ covers your question. The short version is that the posters are granting rights to use the posted content in nearly any way.
