Hi,
I have a customer who does want to use FDE, but the data processing is through Palantir (palantir foundry). They can connect and gather data from many sources, however we think about how JMP can access Palantir.
Most likely we can use the HTTP and JSON connection via http request and calling an API specific to a data table in Palantir.
I wonder if anyone has come across Palantir in your customer base already?
Thanks,
Martin
using http request should work for Palantir connections. Most likely you need an authorization token on customers/users side. Then in my case they got csv data, no JSON as in most of our examples. (In the csv table there is one column wich has JSON code in it, but this is part of the data and should be read in as string. )
The code snippets may look like this:
request = HTTPRequest(
Url(url || endpoint || request_headers["authorization"]),
Method("GET"),
Headers(request_headers),
);
data = request << Send;
// Processing the data
write("Data:%5C!N" || data || "\!N");
response_headers = request << getResponseHeaders;
write("Response Headers:\!N" || char(response_headers) || "\!N");
msg = request << getStatusMSG;
write("MSG:\!N" || msg || "\!N");
The request headers is structured as within our demo examples. They need to specify the url, authorization token and some other parameters.
