Group data in order to minimize variation

Hello all,

 

I am working on an immediate script need with high priority for my group. 

 

The task is about group modules into strings/arrays according to specific data set to minimize string to string & array to array variation. Does anyone have any thought about how to achieve it with JMP?

Thank you so much for your reply! The task is about grouping models into strings/arrays in order to minimize string to string & array to array variation. I don't know what method should I use to minimize variation at this point.

        You can use the Summary platform to acheive grouping. If your data table has a column that identifies the array and string, grouping can be acheived when you try to summarize using that column. I don't really follow what you mean by reducing the variation, but I guess once you try the summary platform you will be able to follow what I am suggesting
