Unified format for data in a columnhello all,
I have a question about how to unified data format.
Thanks a lot,
Re: Unified format for data in a columnJust a reminder, make sure to accept an answer from @txnelson and/or @mikedriscoll so others know the question has been adequately answered
Re: Unified format for data in a columnThank you so much for giving me an a-ha moment! I will remember this next time!
Re: Unified format for data in a columnIn that for loop, you need to define which rows you are comparing, and later assigning. This is done by referencing the row number i as an element of the column, hence the [i].
for (i=1, i<= n rows(dt_template), i++,
if (:Frame Config[i] ==3 | :Frame Config[i] == "3 bar" |:Frame Config[i] == "3Bar" |:Frame Config[i] == "3 BAR" |:Frame Config[i] == "3bar",
dt_template:Frame Config[i] ="3-bar");
);
Re: Unified format for data in a columnYou have to reference the specific row you are comparing
For( i = 1, i <= N Rows( dt_template ), i++,
If(
dt_template:Frame Config[i] == 3 |
dt_template:Frame Config[i] == "3 bar" |
dt_template:Frame Config[i] == "3Bar" |
dt_template:Frame Config[i] == "3 BAR" |
dt_template:Frame Config[i] == "3bar",
dt_template:Frame Config[i] = "3-bar"
)
);
Re: Unified format for data in a columnThank you so much for your reply, I have changed it, but it still not working.
Re: Unified format for data in a columnI don't know if there are any other issues in your script but the first line has a syntax error. for (i=1, i<=n rows(dt_template, i++), should be for (i=1, i<=n rows(dt_template), i++,
