Simple Stacked Bar ChartAnother Newbie question:

I have a very simple set of data, and I'm trying to create a stacked bar chart.
The current dataset layout is:

Date FieldA FieldB
05/01/2011 211 213
05/02/2011 500 633
.......

Seems like a simple task, but nothing I've done so far works.

ThanksRe: Simple Stacked Bar ChartDid you try Graph Builder? You don't need to reorganize your data but you do need a little right clicking to choose Bars and change the style to Stacked. Here's a script that runs on Big Class.

Here is an example - it requires re-arranging your data a little bit.

menu: Graph, Chart (the key is two categories, here: (date and field)),
If you do it interactively, first result is a paired-bar graph - transformed via the
Stack Bars option under the red-triangle.

e.g.

date field Amt
01/05/2011 A 211
01/05/2011 B 213
02/05/2011 A 500
02/05/2011 B 633
