We are in a competitive situation at one our customers with by all indications is a new competitor - Nutonian from Eureqa. Our customer is looking to add at least 2 JMP Pro licenses and potentially a few more if we can help them justify JMP Pro over Nutonian.
Please let me know if you have heard of, or better yet, used Nutonian. Any cost information would also be greatly appreciated.
What I know about Nutonian - not much to be honest. It seems to be strictly a modeling software that uses a machine learning (genetic) algorithm to perform symbolic regression. The user needs to know very little about their data other than which are the dependent and independent variables. Below is a link to their quickstart guide that will give you some indication of the modeling capability.
