Fit Linear submit to SAS via Script<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

The modal dialog of the Fit Model Platform allows the model to be submitted to SAS via a dialog option. Does anyone know how to use that feature via JSL?

Also handy - what messages does the object know?

obj = Fit Model(.....

Show Properties( obj );

& check the log for a list of available messages, including more commands than one can do by scripting alone.

in JMP 9.02, From the Help Menu, Object Scripting, Fit Model, Model Dialog example:

dt = Open ( "$English_Sample_Data/Tiretread.jmp")

obj = Fit Model(

     Y(:ABRASION),

     Effects(:SILICA< SILANE),

     Personality(Standard Least Squares)

);

obj << Submit to SAS;

obj << Run Model;
