To all on the call today--I was playing around after the call with Tables > Transpose, which is easy to overlook as usually "split" does the job... but Transpose is able to do the split we were after today, if you follow it up with the combine columns utility, and it does NOT use value labels (which is a big plus). When I post the dataset later I will also post an example of this.
