Crear función de búsqueda

Hola a todos

Un problema que tuve en mi cara está en mi script para el cuadro de edición de texto, puse set hint para el cuadro de edición de texto, pero cuando ejecuto el programa, no funciona.
¿Alguien puede ayudarme a echar un vistazo?
