Hi,
I have a script in which I added a new column called "Parallel Process" but "Hi" isn't appearing in the data table when the script is run. The column is completely blank, not even any missing dots.
parallelProcessColumn = "Parallel Process";
dt << New Column( parallelProcessColumn );
Column( dt, parallelProcessColumn ) << Data Type( Character );
For( k = 1, k <= N Rows( dx ) - 1, k++,
Current Data Table( dt );
For Each Row(
hours = (Hour( Num( dt:colAutomatically ) ));
minutes = (Minute( Num( dt:colAutomatically ) ));
seconds = (Second( Num( dt:colAutomatically ) ));
colAutomaticallyInSeconds = (hours * 3600) + seconds + (minutes * 60);
If( colAutomaticallyInSeconds < startTime,
dt:newInstructionsColumn = ("PREPARATION")
);
If(
Row() >= startRow & Row() > 1 & colAutomaticallyInSeconds >= startTime & dx:colManuallyStart[k] <= dt
:stopClock[Row()],
dt:newInstructionsColumn[Row()] = dx:colInstructions[k]
);
If(
k > 1 & Row() >= startRow & dx:colManuallyStart[k] == dx:colManuallyStart[k - 1] & dx
:colManuallyStart[k] <= dt:stopClock[Row()],
dt:parallelProcessColumn = "Hi"
);
If( k > 1 & dx:colManuallyStart[k] <= dt:stopClock[Row()] & dt:newInstructionsColumn == "MIX 10 MINUTES",
dt:newInstructionsColumn = dt:newInstructionsColumn || " AFTER " || dx:colInstructions[k - 1]
);
);
);
For( i = 2, i <= N Cols( dt ) - 3, i++,
Column( dt, i ) << Data Type( Numeric ) << Set Modeling Type( Continuous )
);
Column( dt, N Cols( dt ) ) << Data Type( Numeric ) << Set Modeling Type( Continuous );
Column( dt, "Parallel Process" ) << Data Type( Character );
Column( dt, "Stop Clock (seconds)" ) << data type( Numeric ) << Modeling Type( Continuous ) <<
Format( "hr:m:s", 10 );
Column( dt, "Time" ) << data type( Numeric ) << Modeling Type( Continuous ) << Format( "hr:m:s", 10 );
newInstructionsColumnWidth = dt:newInstructionsColumn << Get Display Width;
dt:newInstructionsColumn << Set Display Width( 8 * newInstructionsColumnWidth );

Does the log say anything? If you post a compatible data table, it would be a lot easier to help you.
