How to run an script, written for a table "A", in a new table "B"Thank you for good tips in this community.
I have a script for a Table (A).
I have creat a new Table (B), that is a subgroup of table A.
Now, I try to run the analysis performed in table A, in table B.
Is a there a tips that allow me to rapidely run this analysis? Using the script written for A?
Thank you again,
Re: How to run an script, written for a table "A", in a new table "B"Seems like all you would need to do is make the subset table B the current table, by clicking on the window, and then running your script. Remove the OPEN though. I copy/pasted your code into a JSL window and then right-clicked and selected Reformat Script. If you post code it's a good idea to reformat it and also use the button.

Thank you very much!
Yes, here are some details.
In Table A, I've clicked on "analysis" then "Fit Y by X".
I've saved the analysis using "Save session script".
The script is
Open(
"C:\Users\Utilisateur\Downloads\HMGCR CHUM\Analyse 16 juillet\Feuil2$.JMP",
window bounds( 35, 33, 1364, 639 )
);

H List Box(

)
);
Then, I would like the same analysis, in a subset of the rox of table A.
I'm searching a solution quicker and safer than clicking on "analysis" then "Fit Y by X". then all the Y data (that are little in the posted exemple but actually numerous in the analysis I would like to perform).
Thank you again very much,
With my best regards,
Alain
Re: How to run an script, written for a table "A", in a new table "B"What is it about the script that makes it work for Table A, but not Table B? Is it an issue with the columns not being named the same? Or is the script embedded within Table A? Some additional details would be helpful in figuring out how to get the script to work on Table B.
