I use JMP 11 now.
I'd like to customize Nelson rule Test 2 (8 points instead of 9 points)
from control chart (IR chart), not only from control chart builder.

Will use a control chart builder menu with script modification.
Re: Customizing control chart causes tests (NOT control chart builder)The control chart platform is a legacy platform and the new control chart builder is a newer feature thus more customizable. I am afraid that your desire to modify the rules in the control chart platform is not possible. In my opinion if test 2 is 8 or 9 is really not too much to be concerned about.
