interaction profiler - extract only one

Hey,

A customer would like to extract only one (or a set of) interaction graphic from the interaction profiler (model fitting platform).

The selection tool is not good enough for that (you loose a lot of information (Yaxis, Xaxis, variables in interaction, etc).

would it be possible to build only one interaction grpah with the graph builder or by another way????

or does an existing JSL already exist?

Two thoughts for you:

1. If all you want is the picture does the customer have a snipping tool utility on their computer? Microsoft Windows ships with a pretty basic screen image snipping tool that should work.

2. If the customer wants an actual JMP graph, built say, using Graph Builder. One hammer and tongs way to do the graph that minimizes having to do calculations inherent in trying to find average responses for the ends of the lines in the interaction graph might be to use the native JMP interaction profiler to draw the interaction plot of interest. Then use the cross hairs tool to find the Y value for the end points of each of the two lines. Then create a simple JMP data table with one factor as the x value, the responses for both levels of the second factor, then you could annotate the lines with the text tool for the second factor.

There's probably a more elegant solution than 2. above...but if I had to do this only once...that's what I'd do.
