Estimate calculation

I am wondering what are the procedures, equations, and assumptions behind the estimate calculation when I choose personality: standard least squares and emphasis: effect screening.

To add to @txnelson's reply, in the JMP documentation there is a pretty universally applied format where at the end of every chapter/section, there is a section called "Statistical Details". It's here where one generally finds the background math, formulas, procedures, etc. for each platform. Also, a handy baked in JMP Help feature is, whenever you are looking at an analysis platform report, if you change your cursor to the "?" in the JMP Tools main menu bar, then bring your cursor (noticed it changed to a ?) over the specific element you'd like to learn more about, then right click, and JMP will take you to the corresponding section of the documentation for that particular element.
