Hi,
I've got a 3 in 1 question:
1. I would like JMP to pick up a "template-table" from the same directory that the script is located. This pathway may vary depending on user due to network setup. I've managed to use the following "fixed" link:
TempTable = "K:\...\TableTemplate.jmp";
open (TempTable);
(this setup works)
the data table is located in the same directory as the script, therefore I would reason that I should be able to use:
TempTable ="..\[path]\TableTemplate.jmp"
open (TempTable);
However this doesnt work.
2. I would like to create an interactive data filter:
dt = open (table);
TableWindow = New Window( "Enter Input",
H List Box (
//Create a text box and input box.
Text Box ("Enter the Values"),
Spacers Box (size (1,10));
Filter = Number Edit Box ( . ),
),
//Create a button box that will use the Filter to select and subset specific data into a new table.
Button Box ("Add value",
If ( Is Missing (Filter<<get) == 0 ),
dt << Select Where( :Value == (Filter <<get) ),
dt << Subset(( Selected Rows ), Output Table Name("subset"));
TableWindow << Close Window;
,
Filter << set ( . );
Dialog ("Value incorrect");
);
3. I've got a script that plots numerical values on the Y-axis and batches (characters) on the X-axis. I'm trying to figure out a way to generate a report that will state all samples with values below the avarage of the whole population. Maybe it could work something like this:
dt << Select Where(:Sample == X),
meanX = Mean(Value);
dt << Select Where (:Sample == X & Value < meanX)
//subtset all columns related to these rows
dt << Subset(( Selected Rows ), Output Table Name("subset"));
Thanks for all the help, cheers!
