Best Practices for Logging in larger JMP-Scripting Projects

Hi All!

As I am working on a larger JMP-scripting project right now I was wondering how you do logging in JSL? I am used to a framework like log4j and would be interested if there are any comparable tools in JMP?

I finally took the time to put the basic framework of my logging solution here. That should be a working but slimmed down version of what I use.

I cannot offer a best practice but I either use a socket connection to another process (usually to an instance of R) or just write to a flat file depending on the complexity of the script.
