So my question is about shifting data runs so that they overlap, or are all zeroed to the same 'normalized' starting point. I want to compare a section of each run, but need to have a zeroed starting time.
Any tips?
I would solve this by creating a new column which has a formula that simply subtracts the difference between the minimum value of time and the minimum value of time found for the specific grouping, from the individual value
The formula would be:
:time:-(col minimum(:time, :group)-col minimum(:time))
and then use the new column as the X axis value
Or to truly bring it to zero based you could simply subtract the minimum value for the specific grouping from the raw value
:Time - Col Minimum( :Time, :Group)
