Preference setting for Normal goodness of fit

Hello,

Maybe a simple question but have run out of options. Older versions of JMP such as v8 had given the option to set preferences to automatically examine for Goodness of fit for Normality under the Distribution Platform. Any advice on how to set with JMP v10? It is a task I do very regularly and any shortcut is much appreciated.

Ackk! You're correct. Sorry I missed that.

It appears that there is no longer a preference to automatically fit distributions.

Sorry about that. I'll make sure the developers are aware of your desire and frustration.

Thanks for your prompt response. I have that option selected but it does not trigger analysis upon running distribution analysis.

Look in the Preferences for "Fit Distribution".

You'll find the Goodness of Fit option there.
