Query Builder and the semicolon after the SQL string

Question

I have a customer who is having trouble using Query Builder because a semicolon is inserted as the last character that is generated in the SQL.

Deleting the semicolon lets the SQL run. This is a slow method and they would really like to have the preview function work.

If you happen to know how to get rid of the trailing semicolon, please let me know.

Yes, I connected them with tech support and was hoping that the SE community might already know how to fix this

It looks like an  SAP database

User says, “I can fix it by going to the hotspot, selecting Convert to Custom SQL, and deleting this semicolon.

Then it works but the problem is I can’t see the preview and I have to start over."
