How can I control code folding markers in a script to expand or contract

All, 

    Is there a way to control code folding markers ? What I mean is  if I have an foldable code section like so - is there the ability to do something like : 

SelectableMatrix = 
Expr(
  ResMat = {}; 
  // loop through each row
  For( i = 1, i <= nR, i++, 
    ResMat[i] = {};
    // loop through each column getting values
    For( r = 1, r <= nC, r++,
      ResMat[i][r] = TB1[CheckBoxBox( r )] << get( i )
       ); 
     ); 
  ResMat = Matrix( ResMat );
 );

SelectableMatrix << expand; 
SelectableMatrix << contract; 

In my mind, this will be beneficial and make the scripts cleaner and easier to manage.

This is an interesting idea, but as far as I know there is no scriptable control for code folding like this.
