Set automatically a filename when running Save Interactive HTMLHello all,
I would like to set automatically part of a filename depending on a variable on the "save as dialog box". Something that could work like this (using the JMP example):
Names Default To Here( 1 );
//This message applies to all display box objects
filename_part1="This is the long part of the filename"<BR />Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp" );
biv = bivariate( y( :weight ), x( :height ) );
rbiv = biv << report;
rbiv << Save Interactive HTML(); <---set filename_part1
When the save as dialog box opens, the first part of the filename is set already by the code. The user then completes manually the full name.

thanks for your help!!
Re: Set automatically a filename when running Save Interactive HTMLMany thanks !!! Nice workaround!Re: Set automatically a filename when running Save Interactive HTMLI think this is what you are looking for:
Names Default To Here( 1 );
filename_part1="This is the long part of the filename";
Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp" );
biv = bivariate( y( :weight ), x( :height ) );
rbiv = biv << report;
//Wait so the report shows up behind the window to choose a file
wait(0);
//Choose a file with the save flag set and the default filename set
filename_all = Pick File(
"Select JMP File",
"$DOCUMENTS",
{"HTML Files|htm;html", "All Files|*"},
1,
1,
filename_part1 || ".html"
);
//Save the file
rbiv << Save Interactive HTML( filename_all );
